Hi Everyone, Last year Belmayne ETNS choir held a very successful carol singing fundraiser for the charity De Paul.
Unfortunately this year due to Covid-19 we have had to think outside the box in order to raise some much-needed funds for De Paul. So we have decided to hold a live Zoom Christmas Carolling Sing-A-Thon! The girls and boys of 5th and 6th class will be singing for the whole school day on the 18th of December.
The children have been singing their hearts out in preparation for the big day and are really looking forward to performing for everyone in aid of Depaul. We have made a couple of changes so please take note. The Sing-A-Thon will now take place in the hall between 9.00 and 1.30. We have carried out a risk assessment for the event and are putting in the following controls.
All windows and doors in the hall remain open at all times for ventilation. Children will be required to wear coats.
Max of 15 children (half a class) in the hall at any one time
There will be 2m spacing between each child…
Children will be asked to wear masks. Please send your child in with a mask.
There will be a 10-minute break between each class to allow for the hall to air out fully between groups.
There will be an entrance and exit door to ensure there is no mixing of bubbles.
Using the live Zoom Link you can join in and sing along from the comfort of your own home! You can also then donate to De Paul using the link below.De Paul is a charity that helps people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Their focus is upon those suffering homelessness and marginalisation, who need vital support and the opportunity to realise their true potential. They offer support and guidance to break the cycle of homelessness and assist service users in making positive choices for their future. Any donation that you can make would be very much appreciated, no matter how small.
