New School– no update this month.
Choir will start back on the 17th May which is Wednesday

PC- Meeting next Wed at 7pm-first meeting of new PC will take 2 hours

Open Day–May 13th 2-4.30pm-any volunteers welcome-also any old books please send in for the book sale in particular children’s books.
Sports Day –Trinity Gaels-June 9th-children are dropped there for 8.30 and picked up from Trinity Gaels at their normal school time-children do not come to school on the day –volunteers needed-please note as parents will be working with a group of children toddlers etc cannot attend.
6th Class were away in the Gaeltacht at Uisce and had a great time despite the very cold weather! Their behaviour was excellent. Thanks to Paula, Karl and Jessica who gave up their time to bring the children away.
Graduation-June 16th-a letter will go out soon to parents –due to increased numbers there will be a limited allocation per child. We will let you know the number per family next week
Swimming-5th class will start on the 11th of May for four weeks-payment is 20e online or to the office .Swimming is part of the Aquatics strand of the PE Curriculum.
Biodiversity week 22nd-26th May Activities to include the following:
Photography competition for children closing date May 15th. Send all entries to email@example.com with email title “Bio photos”
Drastic Plastic art/invention competition. Make something from waste plastic (can include other waste materials. Bring entries in the week of May 15th to be displayed for Bio-diversity week.
Class workshops in outdoor learning
Adult workshops in up-cycling clothes– email firstname.lastname@example.org if interested. More workshops to be announced for parents for Bio-diversity week.
Spring Clean Belmayne May 12th. Any parent volunteers who can assist classes in Litter picking contact your class teachers or email@example.com.
