GAA

Trinity Gaels G.A.A. Club are involved with our school.  They will also be encouraging children to attend the club outside school hours.  We will send home any information through the school. We would encourage all children to engage with their local club.

P.E. is a curricular subject.  Group sports have many benefits including maintaining healthy fitness levels, social skills, language acquisition/ language fluency and children also learn many group skills.

GAA takes place for classes throughout the school after school. Gearóid is the co-ordinator and sends information out. We also have school teams for both girls and boys in hurling and football. We usually enter 4 – 6 teams into competitions every year.

The school has done extremely well in recent years. We have won cups in Croke Park and Parnell Park in both hurling and Gaelic Football. This year, our girls and boys football teams are on the verge of reaching the finals, hopefully!
