As you have chosen Educate Together you want to be involved in your child’s education. There are numerous ways in which you can become involved.

The Parent’s Council always need support – at meetings or simply support for events. Examples of support we have received:

• Parents who have trades have helped us on Open Days, other events and with general work around the school
• T.- One of our Dads helped us with the development of our website and the purchase of IT equipment.
• Yoga – a Mum has come in and worked with the children
• Support and help for the Family Fun Night/help with setting up etc.
• Board of Management – parents are on the Board of Management
• Art – parents help out on art days in the school and helped with our backdrop for the Winter Plays
• Helping at Cake Sales
• Helping on Science Days
• Becoming a Parent Council Member
• Attending Classes
• Helping with Maths/Science for Fun
• Helping on numerous Parent and Child Activity Days
• Attending Social Events….the list goes on and on!!!!

We encourage as many parents as possible to go through the Garda Vetting process with the school so you can take part in as many school based activities as you would like. Garda Vetting forms can be found as a part of this welcome pack.
